Important Tips

1. Armorsmiths can create chain mail and plate armor as well as shields. This profession goes best with Mining and Butchery as you will need ore and leather to craft some of the recipes.

2. You should salvage at least half of the items you make. If you have a Runecrafter, send the other half to be runebroken. Otherwise you should sell at least 2-3 items you make at a time in the AH (assuming there isn't already a glut on the market).

3. If you need more platinum to fund your professions, consider selling some of the ore you've farmed for Armorsmithing. Ore is in very high demand in the Auction House for Iron, Chromite, Titanium and Carmintium.
